Opening a Family Childcare Home – License Overview
This training provides a basicoverview of the application process for a family childcare home license. You will gain a better understanding of important personal considerations to make before starting the application process, receive an overview of the license application requirements, and find out more about the services the R&R program offers for prospective applicants. This session is intended for anyone interested in learning about the requirements to apply for the family care home license and the responsibilities required for operating a home-based childcare program.
CCIP is a state-funded program focused on increasing the number of quality, licensed family childcare providers. Family childcare could be a great career choice if you enjoy caring for young children and want to work from home. This FREEprogram provides training and support to individuals interested in starting a family childcare home business.
This training IS NOT the licensing orientation and DOES NOT meet any licensing requirements. This training is for informational purposes only.
One registration per participant is required
Training will be held virtually using Zoom
Registered participants are not admitted to the training 15 minutes after the start time
