Financial Technologies Innovation Contest Briefing - London
Date: Wednesday, 04 March 2015
Time: 13:30 - 17:00
Venue: Digital Catapult Centre, 101 Euston Road, London, NW1 2RA
The IC tomorrow Financial Technologies Innovation Contest will offer a total of £175k to businesses to encourage innovation within Financial Technologies. Through a range of challenges, including themes of Education, Cyber Security, Transactions, Personal Finance Management, Compliance and Regulation, IC tomorrow are looking for innovative proposals from companies with digital solutions relevant to these themes within the financial sector.
The London briefing event will provide an opportunity to get insight about the challenges from our challenge partners and all you need to know about the application process for our Financial Technologies Innovation Contest.
Winners will not only benefit from contest funding but will have an exclusive opportunity to collaborate with one of our global contest challenge partners, which include Money Advice Service and Experian, Lloyds Banking Group, American Express, Accenture, and the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS).
We aim to see unique solutions with potential appeal to a broad commercial market, successful applicants will then be expected to trial their proposed solutions with the industry partners for a minimum duration of 3 months.
The London briefing event will give applicants the chance to find out more about the contest process, gain helpful hints and tips on applying, and will be an opportunity to hear more about each individual challenge and network with the industry challenge partners.
This is an ideal opportunity for applicants to find out all they need to know for applying to the Financial Technologies Innovation contest and for those who are not able to make it to the London briefing event, we will also be running a live webinar as well as holding further briefing events in Cardiff, Edinburgh & Belfast.
