Overview
This webinar will look at the implications for awarding organisations and providers of recent reforms, most notably those outlined in the comprehensive spending review, and explore the opportunities and threats that these may present for joint working between providers and awarding organisations.
Objectives

The webinar will explore how developments impact the relationship between AOs and providers:

  • The trailblazers, the new institute and the register of apprenticeship assessment organisations
  • The remaining adult skills budget, "protected in cash terms"
  • Decoupling funding from qualifications
  • The extended loans programme

In broader terms, does the removal of the QCF offer new opportunities for awarding organisations to work with providers to more closely meet employer requirements?
