Overview:
In this workshop you will learn how to use free and inexpensive tools for creating video and animation for delivery of learning.

The UK government is requiring that from 2015 all courses are to have online content to secure SFA funding, a new online only funding rate is being introduced and in 2014/15 providers will be required to record in the ILR how much online and blended delivery they use.

From September 2014 the statement ‘I am enabled and empowered to use technology and online resources to support my learning’ will be added to Ofsted’s Learner View survey and Ofsted inspectors are being provided with clearer guidance on how to judge and report on the effective use of technology to enhance learning.

It has never been more important for apprenticeship providers to develop and enhance their blended model of provision.

  • Learn how to create videos and animated resources using free and inexpensive tools
  • Learn how to embed video and animations into virtual learning environment pages and other applications.
