Event Background

Rural communities and local businesses in Huron and Perth Counties have been uniquely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Be Well Work Well Huron-Perth is a community-based research project exploring the impacts of COVID-19 on mental health and substance use in rural Huron and Perth workplaces. Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health has partnered with the Ontario Government and other local partners to better understand the assets that are needed to foster solutions into the future.

What's In It For You?

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

Whether you are a business owner, employer or employee, a community member, service provider or municipal or provincial leader, you’re invited…

Our goal is to bring together a diverse range of participants to share rich conversations and find opportunities to build stronger communities in Huron and Perth counties. In doing so, your voices will be heard and reflected in the solutions.  This event will re-connect business to community to allow for collaboration on building a sustainable and thriving rural economy.
