Event Description
This conference focuses on the issues of power utility automation and control. Papers are invited on all aspects of Smart Grid, Networks and Communications, Security, Engineering and Project Management, Control and Automation, Case Studies and Pilot Projects and SCADA and Wide-Area Measurements. We welcome and encourage all those interested in these topics to submit an abstract describing a technical paper which shares their experiences, publish their research and advance the field of power delivery automation and control. All of the power delivery automation community benefits from sharing knowledge to learn what works well, paths to avoid and new avenues to explore.
KEYNOTE PRESENTATION
Scott Milanowski, Director Grid Intelligence for Oklahoma Gas & Electric, will talk about the Smart Grid at OG&E. Scott is currently responsible for process and organizational development supporting smart grid deployment, also leading Grid Intelligence area deploying distribution automation, integrated volt/var control, and DMS system. Scott led OG&E’s effort in successfully procuring a $130 million DOE Smart Grid Investment Grant for OG&E.
