Tracey Newbury will talk about her circuitous route from starting her working life delivering newspapers, via being one of Santa’s elves at Grace Brothers and working as a Secretary in the NSW Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to her goal of working in international development, which has taken her to Africa, South America, Asia and the Pacific. She is a Director in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where she manages a $320 million 10 year program that aims to improve the political, economic and social opportunities of Pacific women
