Halter

Halter is a US/NZ based Agtech company developing a SaaS animal management platform, including a solar-powered device that drapes around a cow’s neck, tracks their location and physical condition, and nudges them around the farm under machine learning control or pre-set paths. The device increases milk production and enhances animal welfare, while also reducing the intensive hours farmers work and protecting the environment. Having the best understanding and control of a cow in the world helped setup Halter's Series A round led by DCVC with support from Founders Fund.
