TRANSPORTATION, LOGISTICS AND THE LAW FOR 3PLs
May 15-16, 2013

This seminar is designed to provide intermediaries with an overview of the laws and regulations affecting them in their day to day business as well as recent developments. Topics include critical issues which transportation professionals and attorneys are confronted with in today’s environment:

The Highway Bill (MAP-21)
Vicarious liability for highway accidents and deaths
CSA & Safety rating system
Selecting carriers to minimize risk
Liability for freight charges and exposure to having to pay freight charges twice
The elimination of required cargo liability insurance

We have added an optional half day course to allow additional time to focus on Loss and Damage Claims and have also added an Interactive Wrap-Up. This closing session is intended to provide time for questions from the audience and case studies based upon problems and situations which have been encountered by the audience.

The price to attend the May 15 is $595 for members or $645 for non-members. To attend both days, members pay $895; the non-member rate is $945.
