Dear ETA participant,
September is International Thyroid Cancer Awareness month which was initiated by ThyCa (Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association).
Thyroid Cancer Awareness month promotes thyroid cancer awareness for early detection, as well as care based on expert standards, and increased research to achieve cures for all thyroid cancers. People and organizations in more than 96 countries around the world will take part in various activities to mark this special month.
Genzyme is proud to support International Thyroid Cancer Awareness month and in collaboration with the ETA organisers is pleased to announce the 1st Thyroid Cancer Awareness Run.
This 3-km run will start at 07.00 hrs on Monday 9th September before the morning sessions of the ETA congress in Leiden.
