Logistics information for HackAmsterdam

Pre-event information
Approximately one week before the event you will receive a pre-travel information pack by email, containing all of the information you need relating to The World vs.MS HackAMSterdam event.

Dress code is casual.

Travel arrangements

Transfer to and from B. Amsterdam
Taxis are readily available at Schiphol airport. The journey to the hotel takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and the one way fare is approximately 45 euros. For your return trip to the airport allow 2 hours prior to your flight departure time to leave B.Amsterdam or Artemis Hotel. Taxis are easily booked by the hotel concierge or see Sharon Hewitt at the registration desk to book a taxi for you.

Weather
The average temperature in Amsterdam in November is 12,5°C (daytime temperature). It can also potentially rain, so please dress appropriately.

Currency
The currency is Euro, but credit cards are widely accepted and banks and ATMs can be easily found around the airport. There are no ATMs in or around the venue, so if you required cash, please use the ATMs at the airport.

Electricity
If you are traveling with electrical devices, please bring a European plug adapter with you in addition to your usual chargers.

The official language of the event is English.
