18th Annual Workshop for Transplant Financial Coordinators!
Below you will find helpful details to assist you with planning for your trip to the workshop.
WEATHER
The weather in New Orleans in mid-September is usually sunny and comfortable at 75 degrees.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
- Hotel Shuttle: The Astor Crowne Plaza does not have an airport shuttle.
- Taxi Cab: The standard fare for a taxi cab ride one way to the hotel is $36.00 - $40.00
- Super Shuttle Express: The standard fare for Super Shuttle Express ride one way to the hotel is $24.00 for one passenger. The shuttle does make multiple stops at other locations along the way.
- UBER/LYFT Rideshare: Rideshare prices vary depending on if you are requesting a ride during peak traffic times. These rides typically run $40.00 one way.
PARKING
Valet parking is available for standard vechicles at $49 and $59 for oversized vehicles. Self Parking is offsite and not managed by the hotel.
AIRPORT INFORMATION
The Astor Crowne Plaza is located 13 miles / 20 – 30 minutes (without traffic) from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport.
DRESS CODE
The dress code for this meeting is business casual. The room temperature within the meeting space is approximately 68 degrees, so wearing layers such as a sweater that can be easily removed if necessary is recommended. Comfortable walking shoes are always a must for attending sessions and exploring the hotel.
