Vendor Registration for 2013 is now open!

On August 3, 2013 the Inglewood Sunfest takes over 9th Avenue for an epic street festival.  With three blocks of vendors and entertainment everyone has a great time.  We're also the kick off for the Calgary Fringe Festival and the brand new Calgary International Buskers Festival.  With so much going on this festival is the place to be on the August long weekend.
 

Why become a vendor? 

There are loads of reasons to become a vendor at the Inglewood Sunfest.  To help you though we've come up with the top 5 reasons why you should become a vendor at the 2013 Inglewood Sunfest.
 
  • 30,000 people!  That's a whole lot of people to put on the street.  That means that there is great foot traffic past your booth the entire day. The people who attend are generally from the surrounding neighbourhoods and in the 25-45 age demographic.
  • We control our sound levels.  This means no big bands blasting their music so loud that you can talk to people.  Instead we focus on interactive entertainment like street performers to help bring down the crowds.
  • Limited number of vendor booths.  This means that you aren't competing with hundreds of other vendors.  We also control who our vendors are so we don't end up with repeats of the same products.  
  • We're keen on promoting your business.  When you register leave a website and a detailed description of what you're selling and we'll be sure to promote you through all our social media channels.
  • You'll make money!  Why?  Our booth costs are some of the lowest in the city but our numbers are much higher.  To you that's a winning combination.
With all these great reasons there's only one thing left to do!  Sign up!  You can use the map below to choose your booth (I know - it's pretty awesome that we let you choose your booth location, we're excited about this too!).

Register Now!

We're making it easier than ever to register for the Inglewood Sunfest.  This year you get to choose your booth location before you even sign up.  No more hoping that you get the placement you want.  We're super excited about this and we hope you'll be too.
 

How to register

  1. Scroll through map to find a booth location that works for you.  All the green booths are for outside vendors (handmade, non-profit, home-based business, and business with a retail location), the blue are for food trucks, the orange are for other food vendors, and finally the purple are our BRZ members.   You can use your mouse to go over all the booths to see who else has signed up.
  2. Once you've found the perfect location click on the booth and you'll be taken to the registration page.
  3. Fill out all your information.  If you are a food vendor we need to you either provide us with your AHS number or fill in a food vendor form and upload it.  You will also need to have your City of Calgary food vendor permit number as well.  
  4. Pay.  Yeah, we know you'd rather not but, like you, we don't want to work for free either :) You'll be able to use your credit card to register.
  5. You'll get a confirmation email right away letting you know you've registered.  If you it disappears in the bowels of the internet check your junk mail first then, if it's still lost, email us (kaya@engagedevents.ca) and we'll make sure we have the correct contact details for you.
Lastly, we have some notes about registration.  
 
We do check every registration and reserve the right to cancel your registration. We generally only do this if we already have a booth selling the identical products (i.e. franchise vendors).  In any case, we'll email you to discuss this before we refund your booth.  
 
If something comes up and you will not be able to make it to the festival you can transfer your registration to another company.  We do have a cancellation policy so please read and agree to that before you sign up. Contact us if you need a refund and we'll help you through that process.
