The meeting in February will provide an update on the pilot of the Strategic Leadership and Governance programme. There will also be an update on current and future LMG programmes commissioned by The Education and Training Foundation while a member of the Excellence in Leadership, Management and Governance (ELMAG) project team will be gathering feedback from the group on how LMG programmes should be funded in the longer term.

Overview

The Strategic Exchange – a Special Interest Group set up to support Chief Executives, Directors and Strategic Leaders of independent provider organisations.

The group has been set up as part of the continuation of a Governance Development Programme commissioned and funded by The Education and Training Foundation in 2014.

The meetings provide an opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics including roles and responsibilities of non-executive Directors, recruiting new Board Directors, strategic planning and measuring Board effectiveness.
