- 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM morning program
- 12:20 PM - 1:30 PM afternoon program: Lunch and Campus tour
- Open to girls 8th grade through 12th grade, parents, and teachers
- Community college women may attend as participants and mentors
STEAM ends with M for mathematics, a foundation of critical thinking and learning for every student. Sonia Kovalevsky, a pioneer for women in Mathematics, a strong advocate of women rights , and the first woman to receive a PhD in Math, gives us ample reason to celebrate women in Mathematics.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Christina Duron from University of Arizona College of Mathematics.
Important things to know:
- Event is in person at ASU West Camps
- This is an all girls student event
- Event is Free with pre-registration
- Lunch, event tshirt and tour are included with registration
- Registration will close once all spots are full
- All students under 18 must complete a PERMISSION SLIP by November 24, 2021 to confirm your reservation. Space will be forfeited if they are not turned in on time.
