The OLGA User Group Meeting (UGM) is an annual event to update you on the latest technology developments and capabilities but also for you to share experiences among peers in the industry. OLGA UGM is held in 17 locations this year and has become an important meeting place for user community. It is also a unique opportunity to meet some of the development team, give feedback and discuss functionality requirements for OLGA dynamic multiphase flow simulator. The OLGA 2015 release is scheduled to be launched later this year. The OLGA development team members will introduce and demonstrate new features in OLGA. Some highlights are: - Standardization of OLGA HD: after 5 years from the launch of OLGA HD as a module and its continuous testing, validation and improvements; this feature is now part of the default engine of OLGA.
- Renovated SlugTracking module: a new mechanistic model for slug initiation and evolution without affecting computational speed or robustness is now available as part of the SlugTracking module.
- OLGA diagram view: to improve the ease of OLGA GUI use, P&ID-type diagram is now available as an option in the OLGA user interface.
- Improved pump modeling capabilities: important improvements on centrifugal pump and the new jet pump modeling capabilities.
- OLGA user manual: a new user manual with an updated structure and abundant information.
- New training courses: a new 5-day OLGA training program for flow assurance engineers.
We believe the 2015 OLGA UGM will be an interesting event for all OLGA user, and we look forward to meeting you all soon.
