Chip McIntyre
Senior Vice President, Strategic Sourcing
Avendra
As Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, Chip McIntyre oversees the sourcing, contracting and supplier management functions for Avendra and Aramark in North America (Avendra was acquired by Aramark in 2017). In total, Avendra manages ~$14B in spend covering a broad array of categories, including food and beverage, textiles, engineering supplies and various services. Previously, Chip spent seven years consulting for Fortune 200 companies, first with A.T. Kearney and then with the Boston Consulting Group. In these roles, Chip led projects in strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, manufacturing improvement, organization design, and change management. In between consulting roles, Chip also spent several years with Cadbury, plc., where he led the team responsible for Cadbury’s procurement in North and South America. Early in his career, Chip served for five years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer. Chip has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and operations from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
 
Pat Mulhern

Patrick (Pat) Mulhern is the CEO and President of DMA in Schaumburg IL. DMA is the multi-unit foodservice distribution sales and marketing arm for the 10 largest regional foodservice distributors in North America. Prior to DMA, Pat spent 17 years at US Foodservice where he served as President of Monarch Food Group and President of the North Star Foodservice. He served on the Board of US Foodservice from 2006 - 2011. Mulhern held senior leadership positions at both Kraft Foodservice and Alliant Foodservice, eventually acquired by US Foodservice and was a co-founding partner, Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of Vistar Corporation (now part of Performance Food Group). For over 30 years, Mr. Mulhern has been actively involved in the fight to end hunger. He is a past Chairman of the Board and current Board member at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and previously spent time helping both the Rocky Mountain Food Bank in Denver, CO and Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit, MI. Mulhern is an investor in FreshPath Advisory, a food and related products advisory business and holding company in Evanston, IL. and has served on several Company and industry boards, including the Irish Dairy Board, Roland Foods and Diversified Foodservice, and IFDA. Mr. Mulhern is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. He and his wife Kathy Shaw have two (grown) daughters and are active residents of Evanston, Illinois.
