Brian Craig Managing Director & UK Country Head Solium Brian served as Solium’s President and Chief Executive Officer from 2002 to 2006, and has been on the Board of Directors since 2001. Brian currently serves as a Director and Executive Chairman. Prior to joining Solium full-time, Brian founded and was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Stormworks Ltd., a privately held e-business services company that was acquired by Solium in 2002. Brian is a principal at a Calgary-based venture capital company, Adventure Capital. Through this vehicle, Brian invests in many early-stage companies, including energy and technology startups. Brian has gained board and audit committee experience at several public and privately-held companies. | |
June Davenport Executive Director, Corporate Services Solium June has been a driving force at Solium since she joined the company in 2000. As Executive Director, Corporate Services for Solium Capital UK, June is part of a core team focused on building Solium’s market presence and operational base in Europe. In her first role at Solium, June was responsible for building the company’s operational infrastructure in North America. Later, as Executive Vice President, Business Integration, she oversaw strategic partner integration and directed the customer relationship team. June has more than 25 years of experience working with all types of share entitlement programs. June serves as a Board Director of the Global Equity Organisation and is a frequent speaker on global remuneration issues in both North America and Europe. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in business management from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. | |
Don Drybrough Vice President, Corporate Solutions Solium Don Drybrough has more than 10 years’ experience in equity administration with Solium, in both Canada and the United States. He has vast knowledge of equity awards, share purchase plans, brokerage, money movement, and expensing under U.S. GAAP and IFRS 2. A true globetrotter, Don works with new and existing clients on launching and implementing plans and equity initiatives – no matter where in the world they’re located. Prior to joining Solium, he spent 10 years working for transfer agents. Don has a bachelor's degree in economics from Carleton University in Canada. | |
Jeremy Edwards Partner Baker & McKenzie Jeremy Edwards is a Partner and Head of the Employee Benefits Group, part of the Employment Department of the London office of Baker & McKenzie. Jeremy has over 17 years’ experience as an employee benefits lawyer and 2 years experience as a corporate lawyer. Jeremy has extensive experience in connection with the implementation of share plans globally and working with multinational clients. Jeremy also advises on all aspects of employee share plans, executive compensation and the taxation of employees. Jeremy has substantial UK experience, including implementing plans for UK listed companies, advising on UK tax issues and dealing with share plans in the context of corporate transactions. | |
Chi Hoang Chief Architect Solium Chi has been working with the Shareworks application for more than 10 years and has led the development of many of its core features, including reporting, IFRS 2 expensing, share purchase, and the exercise and release processes. Thanks to his talent, dedication and leadership qualities, Chi was among the three Solium veterans chosen to open our London office. In his current capacity, Chi is responsible for the overall design and technology direction of Shareworks and focuses on evolving our software to meet the needs of companies in EMEA and beyond. Chi has a computer science degree from the University of Calgary. | |
Jemma Kovacs Relationship Manager Solium Jemma is an ICSA qualified share plan professional who has worked in the UK share plan industry since 2003. She has gained experience in a variety of progressive roles spanning share plan administration service providers and in-house share plan management for a large FTSE 100 multinational company. Jemma has a wealth of knowledge having managed, launched and administered UK approved share plans, executive LTIPs and global stock purchase and savings plans. Jemma’s in-house experience also provided knowledge of international tax compliance and global mobility management. | 0 |

Chris Lindner CFO, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Standard Chartered Bank Chris Lindner qualified as Chartered Accountant with Whittingham Riddell & Co, Shrewsbury. He then worked with Deloittes in Zambia for 7 years, latterly as a Partner. For most of the last 20 years he's worked for Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in Systems Implementation and Finance in Africa, Korea and the UK. He is currently the CFO, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs for SCB globally and has been in this role for the last 6 years. | 0 |
Marcos Lopez Managing Director Solium Marcos has been involved with Solium since the company’s inception in 1999 and has since led all application development and system maintenance. Marcos has been responsible for developing Solium’s technology-related client relationships. He assumed the role of President of Solium’s U.S. subsidiary in 2006, and was the Executive Vice President, Corporate & Business Strategy for the company before joining the Board of Directors to serve as Managing Director in 2010. Before joining Solium, Marcos co-founded Bitonic Solutions Inc., the software company that was responsible for the architecture, development and maintenance of Solium Shareworks. In 2012, Marcos was the winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the technology sector, western Canada. | |
Mike Pewton CEO GlobalSharePlans Mike is head of GlobalSharePlans and had 15 years experience in employee share plans before setting up GlobalSharePlans in 2006. Mike has worked with a large number of multinational companies on the introduction and implementation of their international share plans. He is a regular contributor to the Spanish Chapter of the GEO and a regular speaker at the GEO and NASPP conferences. | |
Richard Phelps Managing Director, Corporate & Employer Solutions Barclays Richard joined Barclays in November 2002, he is currently Head of Corporate & Employer Solutions (C&ES), which is part of the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) division of Barclays. He is also the division’s Accountable Executive for Entrepreneurs. Richard holds an MA in Land Economy from Cambridge University. While at Cambridge he competed in and won three Boat Races, Richard also competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Katharine Photiou Director, Corporate & Employer Solutions Barclays Katharine heads up the workplace savings team within Corporate & Employer Solutions. She has recently driven a new proposition to market called Barclays Beyond Benefits based on generational insights in the workplace. Katharine has over 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry and prior to Barclays worked at Mercer, where she was responsible for building its workplace savings proposition. She has also worked in a number of senior roles at Friends Provident on proposition and strategy for corporate employee benefits including their workplace savings vision and design. Katharine is a member of the Society of technicians in insurance. | |
Richard Scorer Special Projects and Implementation Manager Solium Richard joined Solium three months ago having previously worked in the UK share plan industry for over ten years. Richard brings with him significant technical and operational knowledge from his previous roles, most recent of which involved managing implementations of all types of UK share plans, whilst specialising in online employee services. Throughout his career Richard has been an integral part of enhancing administration systems and software to ensure both administrators and employees attain the best possible experience, overcome challenges and achieve excellent service levels. Laura Verri CEP Financial Reporting Manager Solium Laura Verri brings a great depth of knowledge and experience pertaining to financial reporting and equity plans management. Before joining Solium, she held a series of financial reporting management positions in the US, most notably with E*TRADE and Computershare. Laura also has experience on the issuer side, and has managed the implementation and administration of all aspects of both awards-based and share-purchase schemes. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in business management, is a Certified Equity Professional and has been a frequent speaker at industry events in the United States.
