MEMBERS/FRIENDS CARE PACKAGE DRIVE

The Tri-Regional JETS Posts of SAME are collecting items to send to
DoD civilians, soldiers and SAME members/friends associated
with our local posts that are serving overseas.

What to Donate?

  •  DVDs/ CDs/ Video Games
  •  Books/ Magazines/ Puzzles
  •  Playing Cards/ Small Games
  •  Cards (Birthday, Missing You, Thank You, Holiday, etc)
  •  Gift Cards for Online Stores
  •  Cork Boards/ Magnetic Dry Ease Boards
  •  Calendars
  •  Decorations for Holidays
  •  Personal Items (socks, pillows, blankets, towels, rugs, etc)
  •  OTC Medications (e.g., Pain relievers, flu meds, upset stomach relief, cough drops, multi vitamins, etc.)
  •  Personal Hygiene Items (soap, shower gel, shaving cream, deodorant, lotion, sunscreen, lip balm)
  •  Non-Melting Snacks/ Candies
  •  Cash and/or gift cards to be used to purchase items and pay for shipping

 


Where/How to Donate?  If you would like to donate, please contact your SAME post president or Carrie Kennedy of the Fort Bragg Post at 919-454-4212 or carrie.kennedy@intfedsol.com.  Items will also be collected at the 2016 JETS, luncheons, and events between now and the end of October.

Who Receives Donated Items?  If you know of someone associated with one of our local Posts or have family that is deployed, provide us with their information so that they can be added to our list.  Left over items or things too large to ship overseas will be donated to the Fort Bragg Fisher House.

When to Donate? With the Holidays approaching, we would like to have care packages on their way to in early November.
