FT Executive Breakfast Forum: Navigating the Evolving Risk Landscape

24th October 2012 - 8:30am | Financial Times, One Southwark Bridge, London

Against a background of ongoing economic uncertainty, financial volatility and increased regulations, business leaders are under mounting pressure to manage their companies’ risk profile more effectively.

The Financial Times’ Executive Breakfast Forum: 'Navigating the evolving risk landscape’, will convene an expert panel of speakers who will share how they are identifying and managing the biggest risks facing their businesses. The forum will be chaired by The Financial Times’ Business Editor, Brian Groom.

The exclusive nature of the breakfast forum offers participants the opportunity for frank and intimate discussion and to network with peers in a closed group. To encourage this, the forum will be held under Chatham House rules.

Topics for discussion

  • What are the biggest risks facing corporates and how are they monitored?
  • How are these risks impacting on financial risk management strategies?
  • What strategies should businesses employ to hedge against a low rate environment?
  • What are the opportunities and challenges of managing FX risk in uncertain and growth markets?
  • How can you reduce supply chain disruptions? – eg corporate to corporate lending?
  • How are companies preparing for the upcoming regulatory changes in the market?

Speakers will be experts in the topic, ensuring thought leadership throughout the event.
