Below are optional activities available in Los Cabos during your stay. If you would like to participate in any of these (at your expense), you will have the opportunity to sign up in advance of the trip or on site at the Richards Building Supply Hospitality Desk.
Los Cabos sits on a rocky cliff where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Los Cabos has become one of the most attractive destinations in Mexico, offering visitors championship golf courses, prestigious spas, world-class sport fishing, and a variety of eco-adventure activities and water sports.
Golf: Los Cabos is one of North America's top golf destinations and is gradually earning the status of being the world's major golf trip destination. Some of the most picturesque golf courses in Los Cabos are located along the coastal touristic corridor overlooking the Sea of Cortez.
Fishing: Sea of Cortez. From San Jose del Cabo eastward and also to the south - where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet - is one of the best places in the world for sport fishing. Los Cabos is known as the Marlin Capital of the World. More striped marlin is caught within 20 miles in Los Cabos each year than in any other place in the world.
Wildlife Experiences: There's endless nature in Los Cabos and extraordinary wildlife experiences! One of the most famous and a must-do activity! In Los Cabos is Whale Watching. An excursion to witness the annual grey whale migration, taking place just in front of Baja, California coasts every year between January and March. Other marine mammals are most likely to be spotted: the dolphins! Sea lions and hammerhead sharks, too! Bird watchers will enjoy the visit to one of the local estuaries or a trip to the desert where it's possible to come across many bird species that migrate to Los Cabos every year.
