Responding to calls for an objective, high level forum on how the asset management industry is being regulated, Financial Times Live is pleased to present the inaugural 'Regulation in Asset Management Summit' on 24 March 2015 in London.

Focused on Europe, but with a global outlook, this event will tackle the thorny subject of regulation at the very highest level, examining how asset managers are responding to an increased level of supervision at all levels of their business, from product development, distribution, client management, delegation and more.

It will bring senior regulators together with leaders from across the asset management industry to analyse and discuss the intended and unintended consequences of the ever-increasing levels of oversight on this market. Through a combination of keynote addresses and interviews as well as lively panel debates, the concise one day agenda will explore the need for a global regulatory framework for asset managers, the impact to date of regulation on the business model and the roadmap for fund industry governance into the future.

The event will take place over one day in London – Europe’s leading asset management centre - ensuring this event will attract delegates from across the EU as well as the US and Asia. It will be an event which will take stock of the current and evolving regulatory regime and examine with key decision makers, where it should go from here, to benefit both investors and the industry.
