Jamie Macgregor
Jamie Macgregor is the Senior Vice President of Celent’s Insurance practice and is based in the firm's London office. Jamie has led the development of Celent’s innovation framework and has been a major contributor to shaping Celent’s global insurance agenda. His research focuses on IT strategy and the technology challenges facing the European life and pensions market, contributing to the debate around innovation, digital transformation, BPO strategies, the impact of regulation, and, more recently, the emerging fintech arena.

Jamie’s career spans over 21 years in both management consulting and the insurance industry. Prior to joining Celent, Jamie was a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s management consulting practice, where he led engagements focused on helping clients develop their IT strategy aligned to their business goals, post-M&A integration, and enterprise architecture. While at Deloitte, Jamie also directed the learning and development programme for the Architecture & Analysis capability, and was a core team member contributing to the development of both the Insurance Core Systems Transformation proposition and the technology implications of the Retail Distribution Review Readiness proposition for the UK Life, Pensions and Wealth Management market. While in industry, Jamie performed a number of key lead IT / Business interface roles, such as Head of IT Strategy for AXA UK & Ireland, and led change delivery at both AIG and Zurich Financial Services.

Jamie has an MBA from the University of Southampton and a first class BSc Honours degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth. He has also attended Driving Strategic Innovation at the IMD was selected for Telemaque (a global leadership development programme run by AXA University in partnership with INSEAD), and is currently studying for his doctorate in business administration researching innovation. Jamie is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Information Technology Practitioner, and Member of the British Computer Society.

Lisa Woodley
Lisa Woodley, Vice President, Experience Design, Financial Services and Insurance, NTT DATA.

Lisa has nearly 20 years of experience creating digital experiences that drive brand value. As vice president of Experience Design at NTT DATA, Lisa leads a team of digital strategists, research associates, experience architects and visual designers in the development of strategic digital engagements across insurance, financial services and many other industries that NTT DATA serves.

In addition to her role at NTT DATA, Lisa is an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers University where she teaches user experience (UX) design as part of the Rutgers Center for Innovation in Education Masters of Business Science program.


Simon Kirby

Simon Kirby, Director, SI Industry Solutions - Financial Services, Qlilk

Simon  has over twenty five years’ experience working in the insurance and banking sectors.

Prior to joining Qlik in 2015, Simon worked for the Financial Services Authority where he headed a team of insurance regulators supervising the activities of over thirty companies in complying with regulations such as Solvency II.

Simon also worked for the RSA Insurance group for 7 years; spent 2 years as a senior consultant with PWC and 10 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland in Risk Management and Internal Audit.
Nicolas Meric
Nicolas Meric
Nicolas Meric, CEO DreamQuark

Nicolas came up with the idea for DreamQuark during his PhD in particle physics. He saw a big opportunity in applying the development of innovative deep learning algorithms to the understanding of health and insurance datasets. He decided to develop a solution that would benefit from the performance of deep learning (in precision and speed), but accessible to non data-scientists.
