Keynote Speakers

Dr. Alexander Keesling, Ph.D.  |   QuEra Computing Inc.

Alex Keesling is the Chief Technology Officer at QuEra Computing, a leading quantum computing company. Prior to his current role, he served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer through the initial stage of growth, technology translation and commercialization, positioning the company as one of the technical and commercial leaders in the industry. He has degrees in Physics from MIT and Harvard, where he was one of the inventors of the neutral atom quantum computing approach, seen today as one of the leading qubit technologies and developed commercially by QuEra Computing and other companies.

Dr. Emma Rosenfeld, Ph.D.  |  Google Quantum AI

Emma Rosenfeld is a Senior Research Scientist on the quantum computing team at Google Quantum AI, where she focuses on experimental implementations of quantum error correction, primarily logical gates beyond memory. Before her position at Google, she was a Research Scientist at the AWS Center for Quantum Computing, where she participated in the development of noise-biased architectures for quantum computing and fluxonium qubits. She holds a PhD from Mikhail Lukin's group at Harvard, where she studied Nitrogen Vacancy centers coupled to mechanical resonators as transducers of quantum information in the solid state.
