Enhancing the quality of health care and patient safety was the focus of the 2017 Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum. But this forum also saw a definite focus on the wellbeing of providers and its importance to ensuring a high quality system.

800 delegates – “QI (Quality Improvement) geeks” as they were termed by one speaker - registered for this second joint meeting of the Centre for Quality Improvement for Patient Safety (C-QuIPS) and Improving & Driving Excellence Across Sectors (IDEAS).

2016 Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum

"Failure to transform pilot projects in health care reform into wider initiatives has occurred with "alarming regularity"" #QIPSF2016

Highlighting the challenges and opportunities for effectively enhancing the quality of health care delivery and patient safety was the main feature of the inaugural Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum.

Almost 700 delegates attended this first joint meeting of the Centre for Quality Improvement for Patient Safety (C-QuIPS) and Improving & Driving Excellence Across Sectors (IDEAS), who have both being holding their own meetings for several years.
