Practice Management Course
The New Partners Practice Management Course is designed to discuss and develop the varying roles involved with being a partner or managing a legal practice
The course covers:
- Account Rules
- Anti-money laundering
- Risk Management
- Ethics
- Client care
- Networking and persuasion skills
- Developing client relationships
The course is run over two days with the

The next Practice Management course will take
place on 5 & 6 June 2015 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow. Following this there will be a course on 23 & 24 October 2015 at the Waldorf Astoria, Edinburgh.
New Partners
The Rule known as D2.2 of the Law Society of Scotland Practice Rules, require any new partner or principal to attend the Practice Management Course within twelve months of becoming a partner or principal.
As part of the rules, new partners attendance on Friday is compulsory, and on Saturday is recommended. Although the Saturday is not compulsory it is recommendable to attend to enhance your skills in leadership.
If, for any reason, you feel your circumstances do not fall within
the remit of the Rules, you may apply for a waiver to the Deputy
Please note: All of our CPD is verifiable. However, for Trainees this seminar will count towards your 20 hours of non-authorised TCPD - it WILL NOT count towards the required 40 hours of authorised TCPD. For authorised TCPD, please click here.
