Shawn Price, Senior Vice President, Cloud, Oracle
Shawn Price is senior vice president of cloud for
Oracle. Reporting directly to Oracle CEO Mark Hurd, Price has global
responsibility for Oracle’s data as a service (DaaS), software as a service
(SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
businesses.
Prior to joining Oracle, Price was president of
global cloud at SAP, where he reported to the board of directors and was responsible
for global P&L across on-premise and cloud applications. During his tenure
at SAP, Business Insider named Price one of the 39 most influential
people in cloud computing.
As a 25-year veteran of Silicon Valley, Price led
three companies to successful IPOs; the largest of these had a market capitalization
of $10B. During this time he relied on his experience as an entrepreneur to
become a successful venture capitalist and investor.
Price is a charter member of the C100, a Silicon
Valley nonprofit organization for Canadian entrepreneurs. He speaks at various
industry events on monetization and growth strategies, end-to-end cloud
transformation, mergers and acquisition strategies, and venture capital.
Price holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from the University of Western Ontario.
Ian Broughton, Digital Director, EMEA
As Digital Director for EMEA, Ian is responsible
for Oracle’s go to market strategy and thought leadership for Oracle in the
Digital space, which includes identifying new technology trends and
developments.
Ian started his career in retail at Sainsbury’s in the UK, and then moved into the technology space holding several senior marketing positions (for a variety of industries) within organisations such as IBM, Infor, BEA Systems and now Oracle. More recently, Ian worked as EMEA Business Development Director for commercial industries, working with some of Oracle’s largest customers across the EMEA region.
Combining his
marketing/business development and industry knowledge has helped him evangelise
about critical business transformation themes, such as Smart Grids in
Utilities, CX in Retail and now Digital Business across all industries.
Andrew Zoldan, Group Vice President, Oracle Industries Group
Andrew Zoldan is
Group Vice-President of Oracle’s Industries Solution Group (ISG). In addition to managing several industry
groups (Communications, Media, Travel/Transportation, Enginering,
Construction), Andrew is responsible for the ISG’s overall strategy and
architecture of its solution offers and corresponding field and partner enablement.
Andrew has over 25 years of experience with ERP,
Supply Chain Management, and CRM solutions. He was Senior Vice-President of
Supply Chain for SAP and Vice-President of Solution and Product Management for
Manugistics. Andrew holds a Masters of Science
and Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of California.
Penny Philpot, Group Vice President, Worldwide Alliances & Channels
Penny Philpot is a global IT sales, marketing, business development and operations executive with over 27 year experience, of which 20 years have been with Oracle.
Penny is Group Vice President, Worldwide Alliances and Channels at Oracle Corporation. She leads a team of approx 300 staff located in Tokyo, Korea, Beijing, Bangalore, Bucharest, Buenos Aires, Austin Texas and the Bay Area California.
Penny’s responsibilities include ownership for the Oracle Partner Program (Oracle PartnerNetwork), supporting Oracle's 25,000+ partners, ISV inside Sales team, OPN Operations and all related P&L.
This team’s clear objectives include helping partners grow their Oracle incremental revenue through Specialization, OPN Program utilization and Oracle engagement as well as supporting ISV revenue and new business development. Her Partner support team handles over 1.6m interactions and sales engagements per year with partners via phone, online chat, email and social media in 25 languages
Within the ISV business, Penny is
responsible for managing globally over 3,000 ISVs, driving royalty revenue,
upsell, cross-sell overall business as well as growth in Optimized Partner
Solutions and Java Royalties.
Previously, Penny globally led the
redesign and deployment of the new OPN Specialized program and the
centralization and optimization of all OPN related teams and operations. Before
her global roles, Penny headed up the OPN, Partner Development & Partner
Marketing teams in Europe, Middle East & Africa and established today’s
Oracle EMEA ISV & VAD strategies.
Prior
to Oracle, Penny had key sales and marketing leadership positions. She was responsible for the deployment of
distribution sales models across Europe, European OEM sales and UK Channel
Sales.
Philip Carter, Vice President, European Software and Infrastructure, IDC
Philip Carter is vice president for the European Enterprise
Infrastructure and Software Group. He leads a team of analysts that cover the
infrastructure, middleware, and applications software markets and is tasked
with writing and presenting on broader enterprise infrastructure software
trends and the impact of emerging technology areas such as Big Data, cloud,
mobility, and social as they relate to the European region.
Carter is regularly featured on mainstream media such as CNBC and Bloomberg, and in global publications such as the New York Times. Prior to working for IDC in Europe, Carter worked in IDC's Asia/Pacific region, covering the software, services, channels, and sustainability research areas. Before joining IDC, he worked at SAS Institute (both in EMEA and Asia/Pacific) in marketing strategy, product management, and business development roles.

Eric Fontaine, Vice President Alliances & Channels, Western Europe
Eric Fontaine is Oracle Vice President, Alliances
& Channels Western Europe. His 2 main priorities are in this role are to
pivot Partners to Cloud and to lead Digital transformations.
Eric has worked at Oracle for over 15 years and brings a wealth of experience in Direct and Indirect sales. He can draw from industry best practices leveraging business cases.
Eric integrated Oracle France in 2000 as Regional Manager for the North, East and West. He had the overall responsibility for Applications & Technology for sales, pre-sales and consulting activities in these regions. In 2006, he worked as partner Director in France where he was also in charge of the Unlimited Potential program.
Before joining Oracle, Eric Fontaine worked as retail and emerging markets manager for Sun Microsystems. Between 1985 and 1995, he worked at Digital in various sales and management functions in public sector and financial markets.
Eric Fontaine holds a Bachelor Degree of ISEN (Electronics Engineer).
Simon Hill, Head of UK and Ireland Alliances and Channels, Oracle
Simon Hill is responsible for driving partner
business and strategy in the UKI Region. In this role, he focuses on increasing
Oracle’s share of wallet at our partners and subsequently Oracle market share;
driving partners' transition to Oracle cloud and growing indirect and
incremental revenue across the Oracle portfolio. Simon drives the UKI
Alliances & Channels business and digital transformational innovation
through Oracle cloud and converged systems partner solutions to meet customer
business needs.
With 20+ years in the technology sector, Simon
has spent much of his career in end user and partner sales and leadership roles
but started his career as an Accountant. He has previously held positions at
Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Sun Microsystems. Simon joined Oracle 5 years ago and
has held roles in Oracle Customer Support Services and Oracle Alliances and
Channels.
