Public Sector
Public Sector is facing major budget challenges but investment in technology is a key way to deliver efficiency and improved citizen services whilst showing savings. These three separate but complementary sessions will discuss Oracle’s strategy and approach for the sector for both customers and partners; leveraging our joint strength in our installed base and looking forward to transformation through Cloud initiatives. The final session will include an open Q&A time with the speakers.
Session 1: Public Sector Commercial Approach and Technology Solutions
This session will be led by Stuart Provan, Sales Director for Technology in Public Sector. Stuart will cover the new MoU which was agreed with Crown Commercial Services recently, an update on some new commercial developments that are key for software licencing and a discussion of opportunities for partners. The session will include a case study of a Fraud and Error solution and an update on Oracle’s Technology Cloud focus (PaaS, IaaS) for PS.
Session 2: SaaS/Cloud for Public Sector
Session led by Tim Hughes, Business Development Director, Applications for Public Sector. Tim will provide an overview of Oracle’s extensive Cloud portfolio for PS including solutions for ERP, HCM, CX and EPM – if you don’t know what those TLAs mean he’ll explain! He will also discuss the key role of partners and the opportunity to work together in this sector.
Session 3: Strategy and Relationship in Public Sector
Session led by Stsve Gold, VP Public Sector Technology and Guy Staals, Snr Director - Public Sector Industry Business Unit, Oracle EMEA. Steve will summarise our overall position and approach to the PS market and our relationship at the ‘centre’ (Cabinet Office, CCS, GDS). Guy will cover our global strategy and role of partners. We will conclude with an open Q&A session with all the speakers.

Project Intensive
This session focuses on the growing need for companies to focus on major capital investment, how they make decisions about which projects to invest in and, once these decisions have been made, how to effectively manage and execute these projects. In this session you will learn about the solutions that Oracle Primavera can provide and also how you, as Oracle partners, can engage with the business.
Travel & Transport
