  • Dr. Arthur Veilleux has practiced physical therapy in an orthopedic setting since graduation with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1993.  
  • He was Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 1999 and recertified in 2009.  
  • He completed his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Widener University in 2006 where he developed a special interest in the use of diagnostic imaging.  
  • Since graduation, Art has improved his imaging skills through postgraduate courses in advanced clinical practice with Nicholas Taweel, DPM, PT, OCS and Gail D Deyle PT, DSc, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, research, self-study and practice.  
  • He has exhibited a poster presentation on the use of radiographic imaging at the APTAnj Annual Conference in 2007 
  • He has presented NJ State Board of Physical Therapy approved continuing education in the use of imaging in physical therapy practice 
  • He is a founding member of the APTA Orthopedic Sections musculoskeletal imaging SIG.  
  • Art currently works in a medical home setting which provides an opportunity to recommend, study and apply principles of orthopedic imaging into common practice. 
  • Art enjoys reaching out to physical therapists, physicians and community resources to raise the levels of acceptance and skill in the use of imaging in physical therapy.
