· April 22, 2011: Deadline for speaker submissions.
· June 1, 2011: Speaker decisions complete. We will notify all proposed speakers of the program committee’s decisions.
· June 24, 2011: Final presentation due

Speaker Responsibilities
By submitting a session proposal and receiving approval, you are authorizing the organization to publish your name, company name, biography, and presentation summary in conference materials, including the online agenda, event guide, and event newspaper.

Accepted speakers will present in a one-hour breakout session. To ensure that conference attendees experience relevant and professional presentations, speakers are expected to prepare their presentations according to the guidelines and timelines provided. Speakers will have access to industry professionals to help shape final content.

Sample abstract 1:
The XYZ Network Satellite is a powerful, flexible systems management solution for deploying, managing, monitoring, and redeploying enterprise servers. XYZ Satellite allows users to decrease administrative costs and increase time available for strategic tasks by performing single operations through the web user interface. These single operations can affect some or all of their servers.
This presentation, given by XYZ's Thomas Cameron, explores the most useful  Network Satellite tips and tricks used by the XYZ Systems Management subject matter expert team. Presentation attendees will learn how to use  Network Satellite in advanced, complex, and/or large-scale environments.
This presentation, which will be presented as a series of live demonstrations, is comprised of advanced usage topics, which include:
    •    Setting up a DHCP/PXE/tftp environment to enable automated installations
    •    Setting up kickstart profiles to perform automated installations
    •    Setting up configuration file management
    •    Channel cloning
    •    Custom channels for third party or internally developed content
 
Upon completion of this presentation, attendees should understand the uses for all of these technologies and be able to perform all of these tasks.

RichFaces is a JavaServer Faces (JSF) component library that makes it simple to build rich Internet applications with JSF and AJAX. RichFaces provides over 100 out-of-the-box components with AJAX support and skins (themes) support.

Senior systems engineer [name] of [company], [company description], will demonstrate how next-generation web applications can be built with RichFaces and a JBoss Seam back-end.

[Presenter name] will use the JBoss Developer Studio IDE to demonstrate:

    •    the a4j: and rich: tag libraries
    •    different component skins
    •    how to use JBoss RichFaces with Adobe Flex and JavaFX

[Presenter name] will wrap up the session with insights into the future of RichFaces. This will include plans for the RichFaces 4.0 release and beyond, community updates, and cross-project integrations.
