Referring to CAN CSA-C22.1 part 11, the intrinsic safety levels used by Gaz Métro had to be revised. During the conference, you will discover the path and steps implemented by our working group to raise the intrinsic safety levels within our company.

![]() | 16. Enbridge Gas Distribution’s GTA Project North York South This Session has been cancelled. Please attend one of the remaining sessions based on availability. Enbridge’s GTA Project significantly upgrades the natural gas distribution system to Toronto and surrounding communities, and is the utility’s first major network upgrade in 20 years. The project comprises an unodourized NPS 42 pipeline (27km), odourized NPS 36 pipeline (23km) and several new/upgraded station facilities. This presentation will highlight the formidable undertaking of construction in a congested landscape (including contingency planning for work near existing vital mains), tie-ins, commissioning, and additional work for operational readiness.
