About the Conference
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) invites Ohio Residential Facility Class 2, Recovery Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing providers to participate in the third Housing University. The two-day Housing University will offer networking and educational opportunities. Sessions will focus on best practices including: budgeting, business planning, operations, landlord-tenant law, fair housing, and management practices that promote operational sustainability and facility quality. OhioMHAS is dedicated to supporting its housing providers by providing the tools and resources necessary to ensure each resident has a safe, secure and supported housing environment.
Who Should Attend
The audience for the Housing University includes Residential Facility Class 2, Recovery Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing owners, managers and operators, as well as anyone else who has a desire to learn the nuts and bolts of operating these housing environments.
Each session title is followed by coding to suggest which group of attendees will most benefit from that session. Coding is as follows:
- RF — Residential Facility
- RH — Recovery Housing
- PSH — Permanent Supportive Housing
Scholarship Opportunity
Scholarships are available in limited numbers for Residential Facility Class 2 and Recovery Housing providers. Please submit your application at the following link.
Conference Registration Fee
The conference registration fee is $50.00.
Exhibitor Information -
Join us to showcase your products, services or programs. You will be able to network with owners, managers and operators of Residential Facility, Recovery Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing—and others involved in these fields. There isn't an exhibitor fee but each of your representatives must register and pay the conference registration fee of $50.00 online. Please make sure to select that you are an exhibitor. The confernce will provide you with one 6’ display table and two chairs.
