ABOUT THE EVENT
The annual National Finance & Procurement Conference, celebrating its 14th year, provides a proactive forum for university management professionals to meet and discuss current issues impacting the sector. The event is of interest to university staff involved in finance, finance systems, procurement, strategic planning and travel.
The Conference is a unique opportunity for the business sector to join with university delegates in an exploration of changing trends in business management and services. The Conference attracts up to 150 delegates each year from across both the Higher Education and Business Sectors.
The National University Finance and Procurement Conference is presented and managed by Higher Ed Services (HES). Higher Ed Services works for the benefit of the nation’s universities providing core professional services across a range of business areas. As a not-for-profit company owned by Universities Australia, our mission is to support universities in delivering high quality services cost effectively. Through our collaborative networks we can leverage considerable economies of scale and drive good practice in the areas of university core business: finance, procurement capability, HR, student services and research management.
Along with business sponsorship, the Conference is sponsored by universities that form the HES Finance Systems Network and the Australian Universities Procurement Network. The Conference is a non-profit event and its success relies entirely upon the support of the higher education and business sectors.
