The Latino Behavioral Health Excellence Awards

AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

The goal of the Latino Behavioral Health Excellence Awards is to highlight the contributions and positive impact professionals serving Hispanic/Latino communities are making to the future of behavioral health for our communities.

All award recipients will be honored during the Latino Behavioral Health Excellence Award Gala Banquet to be held Thursday, September 17th, 2020, from 6:00-7:30 pm, during the 2020 Latino Behavioral Health Conference: Shaping the Vision of Latino Behavioral Health Equity, in Los Angeles, California. NLBHA, the National Hispanic and Latino Addiction Technology Transfer Center (NHL-ATTC), the National Hispanic and Latino Prevention Technology Transfer Center (NHL-PTTC), and the National Hispanic and Latino Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (NHL-MHTTC) are hosting the conference.

It is our pleasure to recognize and celebrate individuals who, through practice, have demonstrated leadership, embraced inclusivity and diversity, and have exemplified dedication, integrity, and advocacy to create Latino behavioral health equity.

The award recipients are selected from nominations received from across the United States and all territories. The nominations are reviewed by a selection committee. One recipient will be selected from each of the five award categories:

  • Latino Behavioral Health Excellence in Treatment Award 
  • Latino Behavioral Health Excellence in Prevention Award 
  • Latino Behavioral Health Excellence in Research Award 
  • Latino Behavioral Health Excellence in Policy Award
  • Latino Behavioral Health Excellence in Recovery/Peer Support Award
