Northeast Mustang Meet

 Ride of the Week

This week's featured ride is Micah's 2007 Roush 427R. It is #486 of 1,025 built in the 2007 model year and is 1 of 58 Grabber Orange 5 speed coupe 427R's built in that year. In addition to all of the goodies that come with the 427R package, Micah has added a few upgrades: Ford Racing 3.73 gears, Ford Racing X-pipe, High flow Cats, Roush Extreme off road exhaust, 2.49" VPM supercharger pulley, 90mm idler pulley, Roush CAI, Brisk extra cold racing plugs, Ford Racing guages, JDM custom tune, Kenwood speakers, and a Viper alarm. His est 1/4 mile was 12.8 and best 1/8 mile was 8.05, and his best guess at horsepower according to JDM is 475 to 500, give or take a few.

When asked about a favorite memory or story involving his Stang, Micah shared the following:

'The best story I could share would be the time I drove it on Watkins Glenn track during a light rain. I got a little crazy going through the esses and on the exit turn I went into a 360 spin. I spun around right in the middle of the track without hitting anything and somehow managed not to stall so once I stopped spinning and caught my breath I threw it into gear and kept going. The guy in the Porsche behind me said it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen.'

THANK YOU, Micah, for taking the time to tell us about your beautiful Roush. We can't wait to see it up close and personal at the meet!
