BGCA Native Services
Virtual Teen Summit
November 2-4, 2020
Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Native Services team will host their first ever Virtual Teen Summit. This 3-day teen summit will unite Native teen Club members across the movement by providing a space for teens to be present and BE THERE for each other.
The 2020 Native Services Virtual Teen Summit is for middle school and high school club members that currently attend a Boys & Girls Club on Native Lands. The focus of this summit will be on STEM, environmental awareness, cultural sharing, and skills for healthy transitions. This fun, exciting, and educational event will be designed around the theme of BE THERE, with challenges and messages delivered daily based on the BE THERE theme. Each Native organization, and Native sites under a traditional organization is invited to register a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 teens. There will be sessions for middle school and high school to accommodate age appropriate topics.
Clubs are the light that shines through the darkness for teens especially during this pandemic. Even though the world feels dark right now – the Club offers light, hope and opportunity. To turn on and shine our light is to be present… and to BE THERE. Our inaugural Virtual Teen Summit will be held November 2 – 4 with additional activities running throughout National Native American Heritage Month.
REGISTRATION IS FREE!!
