With only one day for educational sessions, we asked you, our members, what is important to you. Those areas are research and new treatments. Speakers Friday morning will focus on these topics with other subjects, such as management of MPS and related diseases, presented in concurrent sessions in the afternoon. Friday night after the banquet, we invite everyone to attend the first National MPS Society prom. We promise a super-fun evening for everyone filled with music, dancing, activities and surprises! There’s no dress code for this event; you’re welcome to dress up in your party duds or be relaxed in shorts and flip flops.

New for the 28th Annual National MPS Society Family Conference:

  • IEP "Open House" workshop where parents share ideas with other parents about the IEP process, discuss problems and share ideas.
  • Targeted breakout sessions Thursday evening for moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, adults and bereaved parents.
  • Reflection area to write a tribute to those who are always with us in love and spirit.
  • The prom—a very special, magical evening filled with music, dancing and activities.

Don’t miss out on making your own magical moments at Walt Disney World and helping us celebrate our 40 years of achievements! Please join us by attending the annual meeting of the National MPS Society to learn about the activities of the Society.  Call Laurie Turner at 207.843.7040 with questions or send an e-mail to laurie@mpssociety.org.
