Wednesday 3rd September 2025 – Welcome Reception
This year MLAANZ delegates and guests will enjoy the start to the conference with the Welcome Reception hosted in the Alluvial & Bluestone Bar of the Intercontinental Hotel Melbourne between 6.00 - 8.00pm.
One ticket to the Welcome Reception is included in a full delegate registration; extra tickets can be purchased during registration at $95.
Thursday 4th September 2024 - Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will be held at the Port Melbourne Yacht Club between 7.00 pm - 10.00pm.
One ticket to the Conference Dinner is included in a full delegate registration; extra tickets can be purchased during registration at $200.
Friday 5th September 2025 - Walking Tour of Victoria Dock and Lower Yarra Historical Precincts
MLAANZ in conjunction with the Melbourne Maritime Heritage Network will be conducting a walking tour for delegates and partners who are interested to partake in on Friday 5th September 2025, immediately after close of the conference. The walking tour will be led by Jackie Watts, Chair of the Melbourne Maritime Heritage Network, and a former Councillor of the City of Melbourne.
There will be no charge for the tour. If you are interested in attending, please tick your expression of interest during the registration process online. Participants are to assemble in the foyer of the Intercontinental Hotel at 5.40pm for departure, and the tour will snake along the north bank of the Yarra, passing numerous sites of historical interest.
The tour will conclude at the Seafarers Rest Park and Mission to Seafarers building area at 6.30pm. It is a short free tram ride from the finishing point back to the Intercontinental Hotel.
