The conference is hosted by Singapore Management University (March 12 and 13) and National University of Singapore (March 14).

Enter the Administration Building and take the lift to Level 4, go left off of the lifts to Function Room 4.1. Approach the Front Desk Security upon arrival at SMU if you need any assistance or call 6828 0100.

 

Taxi

Conference participants could take the Taxi and alight at SMU Administration Building, 81 Victoria Street, Singapore 188065. The Carlton Hotel is a good reference point if the driver is not familiar with SMU Administration Building.

MRT

Nearby MRT (Mass Rapid Transit, http://www.smrt.com.sg/Trains/NetworkMap.aspx[smrt.com.sg]) stations are City Hall Station (EW13/NS25) or Bras Basah Station (CC2). The SMU Administrative Building is located within a short walking distance.

 

Driving to SMU

SMU car parks are located at the SMU Administration Building. Car park entrance is closed at 12midnight and opens at 6am daily. Parking coupons will be provided at the conference.

Transport to NUS for Participants Staying at/near Carlton Hotel

MBA CSEA has arranged for transport by coach from/return to Carlton Hotel. Please reconfirm your place on the coach upon registration.

 

Departure is at 8:30am sharp on 14 March from Carlton Hotel.

Please meet Kimbrelyn Austin at the Carlton Hotel Lobby at 8:20am.

 

MBA CSEA has arranged return to Carlton Hotel by coach after the conference.

 

Driving to NUS Business School

Visitors are requested to park at Car Park 15 which is the nearest Public Car Park to NUS Business School ‘s Mochtar Riady Building. Upon exit, payment is by ERP cashcard..

This car park is located opposite Shaw Foundation Alumni House,  just next to the Mochtar Riady Buildin

  • Self-guided walks through Little India or Chinatown
  • Self-guided walks along Singapore River to Marina
  • Visit to National Museum or Asian Civilisation Museum
  • Walks at Botanic Gardens, Fort Canning Park or Gardens by the Bay
Evening
  • Early evening stroll along Marina Bay with stopovers at Merlion, Esplanade for a view of the skyline at Central Business District
  • Riverside dinners and night life at Merchant Walk, Robertson Quay, Boat Quay or Clarke Quay
  • Choice of dining at Chijmes, Arab Street or further afield to Dempsey Road.
  • Shopping at Orchard Road or Raffles City Mall

Extension into the weekend
  • Spend the day at Sentosa for beach/outdoor activities, aquarium visits or Universal Studio theme park. Take a Cable Car from Mt. Faber or
  • Day out West to Ford Factory on Upper Bukit Timah, Labrador Park ending at Singapore Zoo/Bird Park.
  • Day out East visit Arab Street, Geyland Malay Heritage Centre ending at East Coast Park for relaxation with rental bikes
  • Organised bus tours through Hippo or Duck tours – hop-on hop-off options available with choice of tours.
