Audrey heads up Hill Brown Licensing a division of the recently merged Miller Samuel Hill Brown LLP. She joined Hill Brown in 2007 seeking to pursue her interest in liquor licensing law and became immersed in the practice area during the pressurised transition period leading up to the implementation of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, gaining considerable experience in various industry sectors. She regularly appears on behalf of the firms’ clients at Licensing Board hearings across the country and contributes to Scottish Licensing Law and Practice and Scottish Licensed Trade News. Audrey was described in the latest Chambers Guide as ‘very able’ and a licensing expert with a particular focus on matters relating to liquor licences. She sits on the influential Law Society of Scotland Licensing Law Sub-Committee. Away from business, Audrey’s interest in the theatre is reflected in her position as a Director of Glasgow’s Tron Theatre.
