As the Government reviews its strategy for legal aid in Scotland, delegates will discuss funding challenges and policy priorities for the sector as well as practical pointers for legal aid practitioners.
The 2016 Legal Aid Conference will consist of joint sessions
for both criminal & civil legal aid practitioners as well a streamed
sessions covering criminal & civil topics. Each session will focus on key issues and will provide an opportunity to
hear from expert speakers, ask questions, share experiences and network with
fellow solicitors.
The 2016 conference will be chaired by David Lee, former editor of The Scotsman Legal Pages.
