WHAT IS THE “ORLANDO EN FAMILIA” SPECIAL PROGRAM?
It is an ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION Program for the Amway Latin America Leadership Seminar to take place in Orlando, Florida, from December 2 to 6, 2015, that will allow you to include two immediate family members (parents, siblings, children, nephews, grandchildren) in a special participation package.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS SPECIAL PROGRAM?
The qualification requirements for the “Orlando en Familia” Special Program are as follows:

WHAT DOES THE “ORLANDO EN FAMILIA” SPECIAL PROGRAM INCLUDE?
The “Orlando en Familia” Special Program includes:
- A maximum of two immediate family members (parents, siblings, children, niece/nephews, aunts/uncles, and grandchildren) staying in the same room as the holder and coholder
- Activities at the event (morning exercises, group breakfasts)
- Americas family event at the Amway Center and group dinner
- Debit card with $420 per person for meals at leisure and park tickets
- Amenities
- Childcare for children 12 years and under during the Business Session
- Participation in Recognition Session for guests 13 years or older and nursery for children 12 and under during the Recognition Session
- Ground transportation (to and from the parks and the airport)
- Travel insurance
IF MY RELATIVE IS AN AMWAY BUSINESS OWNER, CAN HE/SHE ATTEND EVEN IF NOT QUALIFIED?
Yes, because this is a special occasion and it is an event intended for the family but you would need to qualify for the “Orlando en Familia” in order for your guest to be included in the program activities, or if you do not qualify, you will be able to purchase a package for your guest. Please see below for more information.
IF I QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM AND I HAVE MORE THAN TWO RELATIVES TO ACCOMPANY ME, HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO BRING THEM ALL?
The “Orlando en Familia” Special Qualification Program offered by Amway is for the holder and coholder plus two additional relatives. If you want to bring more than two, you may reserve hotel rooms for your additional guests at host hotel for the event, where you'll have the preferred Amway rate. Below is the link for you to make your reservations. If you wish your guests to be included in the program events then you will need register on the registration site.
IF I DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE SPECIAL PROGRAM, WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO BRING MY FAMILY?
Even for those who fail to qualify for this special program, we have a package available for purchase to bring family on your own, but it is important to remember that the maximum per room at the host hotel Hilton Lake Buena Vista is 4 people. If you will be exceeding this number, you have the option of booking a room on your own in the suggested hotels. It is important to register your additional family members on the registration site in order to take them into account for the event logistics. The package available for purchase will have a cost of $155 USD, and it will be available for family guests 3 years old and above, the limit to register the family is 23 October; will include:
- Orlando Airport - Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel round transportation (excluding transfers to other hotels)
- Transportation to parks according to program agenda from Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel (entrance to parks not included nor money to purchase entrance tickets)
- Group Breakfasts at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel
- Childcare for children 12 years and under during the Business Session
- Recognition Session and child care during the session
- Americas Event at Amway Center
- Travel insurance
- transportation to the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel
- transportation to and from the airport
HOW CAN I PAY SUCH PACKAGE FOR MY RELATIVES NOT INCLUDED IN THE SPECIAL QUALIFICATION PROGRAM?
This package will be paid in full in dollars upon your arrival to the hotel. Please consider this payment will be for the total sum, there are no credit or partial installments available. It cannot be deducted from the bonus/fees.
WHAT IF I DON'T REGISTER MY RELATIVE AND DON'T PAY THE PACKAGE?
Upon paying, a bracelet will be distributed for those that registered to be identified as part of the Amway group. Whoever not wearing the bracelet may not participate in the Amway program activities (meetings, breakfasts, nursery, Event of the Americas in family, etc.).
IF I QUALIFY FOR THE SPECIAL PROGRAM AND I HAVE TWO RELATIVES PLUS A BABY OF LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF AGE, CAN I BRING her/him AND stay IT IN THE SAME ROOM?
Yes, you will need to register your additional relative of less than 3 years of age in order to request a cradle in addition to the two beds. The hotel has a limited number of cradles and they will be assigned based on online registration priority. The relative of less than 3 years of age will not pay an additional cost and purchase of park entrance is not required either.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PLACE AN ADDITIONAL BED IN THE ROOM?
Yes, at an additional daily cost of $15 dollars to be paid directly at the hotel prior registration. As per hotel policy, a maximum of one additional bed is allowed for a room with King bed (for three people staying in the room), if the room has two queen beds allocated it will not be possible to put an extra bed (maximum four people in the room); Rooms will be assigned according to registration priority and based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate rollaway bed requests during the registration, but they are not guaranteed.
IF I OR MY RELATIVES STAY AT A DIFFERENT HOTEL, WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO THE EVENT FUNCTIONS AND FROM THE AIRPORT?
The transportation included is exclusively from and to the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel for guests that register on the registration site and receive a wristband at the event.
IF I STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL, WILL THERE BE BREAKFAST FOR MY RELATIVES AT SUCH HOTEL?
Breakfast will be offered at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel for ABO qualifiers of the “Orlando en Familia” program or who have paid the $155 package. If you would like to be considered for the group breakfast, please register each guest on the website if you qualify for the “Orlando en Familia” program or purchase the package for each guest.
IF I STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL, WILL I RECEIVE A REIMBURSEMENT OF ROOM COST?
The “Orlando en Familia” program and package purchase options include a room for up to 4 persons only at the Hilton Hotel, including the holder and coholder. If you want to stay at another hotel, this cost is not reimbursable.
MAY I SHARE ROOMS AT THE EVENT HOTEL WITH IBOs FROM MY GROUP?
Amway ensures, provides and guarantees the winning business the lodging comfort by assigning a room per qualified business and the immediate family members invited.
IF I QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM AND I ONLY HAVE ONE RELATIVE, MAY I INCLUDE SOMEONE ELSE AS INVITED?
The program is intended for immediate family members exclusively (parents, siblings, children, nephews, grandchildren; any guest who does not belong to that group will not be able to attend).
IF I QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM AND MY BUSINESS IS AN ISOLATED SINGLE HOLDER, MAY I BRING 3 INVITED RELATIVES WITH ME?
Amway will cover two relatives if you qualify for the special program. The third relative may come by registering and purchasing the package for additional relatives for $155 and he/she may stay in the same room. Remember it is important that you register your additional relative online prior to the event for consideration. Click here package information. Also remember that the maximum number of persons per room is four.
HOW WILL FLIGHT TICKET PURCHASE FOR MY INVITED RELATIVES BE ARRANGED?
The airline tickets will be purchased through a local travel agency. Amway may provide contacts for making flight reservations in case you need a seat in one of the Amway charters. This will be subject to availability and the IBO must pay the plane tickets for his invited relatives in full directly to the travel agency. This payment will not be reimbursable.
Plane ticket cost will be announced on a later date. Please stay tuned for updates in our next communications.
Purchase transactions for these tickets will be between the IBO and the travel agency exclusively. No deduction from the monthly bonus/fee applies.

WHAT IF I WANT TO PURCHASE THE PLANE TICKETS ON MY OWN?
Refer to your events coordinator before July 31 since this depends on fiscal regulations in each country.
WILL YOU HELP ME IN OBTAINING VISAS FOR ME AND/OR MY INVITED RELATIVES?
Amway will provide supporting information and the opportunity to work with an agent. The cost varies per country and it will be covered by the IBO directly with such agent or agency.
In order to get a supporting information letter for requesting your visa, please contact the Amway offices in your country. The cost of visas and the travel expenses for the holder and coholder for visa proceedings will be covered by each IBO.

WILL MY GUESTS BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE BUSINESS MEETING AND RECOGNITION CEREMONY?
The invitation to the Business Session is exclusively for IBOs. There will be childcare available for children 12 and under, with prior registration.
Recognition Session is only for relatives of 13 years and older with prior registration, there will be childcare for children 12 and under.
The child care and access to the sessions will be available to businesses that have gained special qualification program or have paid the family package with prior online registration.
MAY I BRING MY OWN BABYSITTER/NURSEMAID OR AN INVITED PERSON IF I COVER THEIR EXPENSES?
For any person that is not an IBO or an immediate family member (parents, siblings, offspring, nephews, grandchildren), even though the IBO qualified to the Family program,the IBO will need to cover their expenses and travel logistics, and no participation in event functions will be allowed for them. They will also need to stay at an alternate hotel if you will already have 4 occupants in your room including the holder and coholder.
MY COHOLDER CANNOT TRAVEL, MAY I BRING ANOTHER PERSON IN HIS/HER STEAD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SEMINAR?
The travel is intended for holder and coholder of the qualified business. If one of the members of the business cannot travel, please notify us that they will not attend so that we can make the necessary logistics arrangements. The deadline for non-participation notice is October 23.
MY RELATIVE CANNOT TRAVEL. HOW WILL HIS/HER NON-PARTICIPATION BE MANAGED AND WHAT IS THE NOTIFICATION DEADLINE?
No reimbursement will apply in case a relative of a special program winning business or a relative attending through an additional relative program will not be able to attend. We will appreciate your notifying us they will not attend so that we make the necessary logistics arrangements. The deadline for non-participation notice is October 23.
WHAT IF I DECIDE TO BRING MY RELATIVE WITH ME BUT I DID NOT REGISTER HIM/HER?
The deadline for registering IBOs and relatives is October 23. If no registration is made within such date, we will not be able to guarantee you will be considered for travel logistics and inclusions.
CAN I MAKE A TRAVEL EXTENSION?
Tickets were purchased at group rates on event dates. If you wish to extend your travel dates, you should contact the airline directly once you receive your flight itinerary from Amway. All the costs associated with this extension, either before or after the Seminar, will be covered by the IBO. Amway will not provide transportation, lodging, or any type of logistics coordination outside program dates.
MAY I REQUEST A WHEELCHAIR?
Wheelchairs will be assigned based on availability. You will need to mention in the online registration that you need a wheelchair, which you will have to return at the end of the event.
