This programme is designed to provide a practitioner in the global supply chain with a better understanding of the current driving forces in today’s global trade arena from a Customs perspective. 

Participants will be given a first-hand look at some of the key initiatives, new tools, guidelines and procedures that the WCO is focusing on in support of Member administrations and in close collaboration with private sector stakeholders and other international organizations. 

This will provide an insider’s view into aspects of what Customs administrations around the world are working on to facilitate trade, while maintaining a strong compliance posture. 

These efforts will ensure fair trading markets and build economic competitiveness for national governments and the private sector.  This knowledge track will bring WCO technical experts, private sector experts and international organization experts together in one place to enrich participants’ understanding of the global supply chain from a different vantage point.

Participants will also have an opportunity to take part in an evening open forum and networking session to discuss all matter of global trade related issues with WCO leaders.
