Operator
Collaboration Model (OCM) is a best practice model for improved collaboration
between manufacturers and chain operators developed by a committee of
practitioners from both communities. The model provides a framework to classify
and segment operator-supplier relationships, better allocating resources across
organizations.
OCM
Phase II: Joint Business Planning (JBP), developed by more than 20 operators,
manufacturers and brokers in 2015, builds off the existing model to provide a
new best practice approach in corporate-to-corporate planning.
IFMA is now offering one-day group training sessions on how manufacturers and
national account operators can incorporate the OCM and JBP within their
organizations. Join operator and manufacturer individuals to learn the processes,
using group interaction and case studies to illustrate key concepts.
Learn
how this new thinking and new set of tools can change how to approach and
manage key account business, and for operators, how to manage supplier partners.
