IPWEA NSW STATE CONFERENCE 2015

Fit For Purpose

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (NSW Division) would like to invite you to participate in the IPWEA NSW State Conference 2015, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal from Wednesday 14 October to Friday 16 October 2015.

This year's conference will bring together technical partners who are engaged in asset management, road and rail safety, transport, water and waste water, the environment and sustainability, technical innovation and technology. The conference encourages representatives from across our profession and the Local Government sector to join together and exchange ideas, create discussion and identify solutions to those 'Fit for Purpose' challenges. 

Drawing delegates from all over New South Wales, metropolitan and regional areas are always represented. The conference is of particular relevance to Engineers who provide support within Local Government, and attracts an audience of Engineers, Public Works Managers, Group Managers, Supervisors, Technical Staff, Councillors, Directors, General Managers, other Public Works’ disciplines including Management Utilities and State Government Departments.

The IPWEA NSW State Conference offers an extensive business program including a site tour and evening Welcome Reception with peers on Wednesday, exhibition, keynote presentations and concurrent streams of technical papers and peer presentations on Thursday and Friday, and the revered IPWEA NSW Engineering Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday evening.

NEW! Post-conference Workshop Young IPWEA Career Development, Saturday 17 October 2015 We are delighted to offer a half-day workshop at the conference venue on Saturday morning. This workshop is outcome driven, and run by a professional coach whose resume includes extensive engineering experience.

An informative and thought provoking program is ensured for all those involved with or supplying to Public Works, Infrastructure and Engineering. We look forward to welcoming you to Terrigal in 2015.
