“Advanced Bystander Assistance”
Learn how to be a side-by-side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist". Students are taught how to be a leader at a scene. Advanced airway, common roadway medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, femoral and radial pressure points, role play, critical incident stress, lifting a bike lab, and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced. Pre-requisiste: Basic class in 2024, 2025, or 2026

IT-Instructor-Led ASM Advanced 300 series class. Lead instructor: Teresa "Trauma Mama" Matinez, BSN RN Assisting instructor: Ben Martinez. Location: Harley-Davidson of Tucson. Host: Tucson HOG Chapter. This class is OPEN to the general public and available for anyone to take. Lunch is provided and sponsored by Husband and Wife Law Team. Cost per student is $50 (normal cost $125.00), thanks to our generous sponsor. Includes all class materials, embroidered patch and lunch. Class limit is 30 students.
