“Advanced Bystander Assistance" - SUNDAY
Learn how to be a side by side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist". Students are taught how to be a leader at a scene. Advanced airway, common roadway medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, femoral and radial pressure points, role play, critical incident stress, lifting a bike lab, and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced.

Instructor-Led ASM Basic 100 series class on Saturday and Advanced 300 series class on Sunday. Lead instructors: Karen Cofresi, First Responder and William Gardner, EMT. These classes are OPEN to the general public and is available for anyone to take. Location: Waterford EMS. This is a 2 day class covering Basic & Advanced Training. If you take both Basic & Advanced the course fee is $200.00 for both dates. If you already have taken the basic class in the last 2 years you are welcome to either attend both and get a refresher, or if you only want the advanced one the course fee is $125.00 for Sunday. Lunch is included. The classes are best taken "Back to Back" (both days). A person who has completed the Basic class in 2023 or 2024 is eleigible to take the Advanced class.
