She is currently assigned to the Aviation Division, overseeing five auditors who work on aviation-specific audits. Before working at the City Auditor Department, she worked for 9 years at the Phoenix Police Department conducting financial investigations. Leigh Ann holds a BS in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and an MS in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. She is passionate about internal auditing and obtained her CIA in June 2022. | |
| Cristina Preciado City of Phoenix Cristina Preciado is a Deputy City Auditor in the City of Phoenix with over 22 years of experience in government compliance and performance audits, specializing in aviation and law enforcement. Cristina holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA, an MBA from CSU, Dominguez Hills, and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Lamar University. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). Cristina is the Treasurer of the Institute of Internal Auditor – Phoenix Chapter. Outside work, Cristina enjoys watching sports, spending time with her daughters, and cuddling her dog and two cats. | |
