IIA New York Chapter invites you to the May Annual Audit Conference at Hard Rock Café on May 9, 2024, after the successful SOLD-OUT Financial Services Conference in February 2024.

Internal audit functions and auditors are currently facing new changes that require innovation and adaptation to the new ways forward. Some of the key changes include the new IIA Global Standards (known as "the Standards"), which will become effective on January 9, 2025, and new disruptive technologies like Gen AI and automation. These changes are expected to have a significant impact on various industries, including financial services, public sectors, social media, technology, cannabis, and healthcare.

The conference will feature some of the leading global CAEs of our profession beginning with a keynote by Naohiro Mouri, who is the Global Chair of the IIA Standards Board and CAE AIG and has played a significant role in shaping the new Standards. The event will also feature engaging sessions from the CAEs of UBER and META/FACEBOOK, as well as leaders in the cannabis industry, who will discuss how the new Standards will affect their businesses. Additionally, the conference will cover various topics, such as driving a high-performing audit function through passion and creativity, developing strategic value through AI and innovation, and unveiling the cannabis industry, including regulatory requirements and compliance and financial standards/reporting.
