Event Summary

NY IIA will present the Officer and Board of Governor slates for vote at the virtual Annual Membership meeting, scheduled for April 5, 2024.

The Annual Membership meeting topic will be 'AI - Navigating Real-World Applications Using the GTD Framework',  and by attending, you will receive 1 “free” CPE.

The meeting is open to all Chapter members in good standing and voting will take place at the meeting.  

Learning Outcomes

In this 50-minute presentation, our learning objectives will encompass a foundational understanding of AI, exploring its basics, identifying suitable users, and determining optimal scenarios for its application. We will delve into the nuances of when AI should and shouldn't be employed. The main focus will then shift to practical applications with 15 examples using the Getting Things Done (GTD) framework, ranging from summarizing open PDFs to enhancing SOX programs through various stages such as planning, risk assessment, controls testing, compliance/reporting, process automation, data analysis, and continuous monitoring. Participants will gain valuable insights into real-world AI implementations within the context of these diverse use cases.
